For privacy reasons, I don't like posting my picture online. So, I decided to use a photo of my "spirit animal", the brown bear I saw at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC) last Summer. The AWCC describes itself as:

a sanctuary dedicated to preserving Alaska’s wildlife through conservation, education, research, and quality animal care. AWCC takes in injured and orphaned animals year-round and provides them with spacious enclosures and quality animal care.

This particular brown bear was just sitting there relaxing, watching the people watching her. I'm not sure, but I think this is the female brown bear named Patron. You can read Patron's story and even adopt her here.

As all of the people stood and stared at her, she seemed to be just taking it all in and enjoying life. I'm striving to be like her. I've posted my video and photo of her below.
