It’s going to be a great day! From my walkabout this morning - flowers are about to really start blooming! First was a check of the mockingbird nest. All is well. I wish it was higher off the ground. The amaryllis are standing guard, the nest is the clump in the upper left o The mockingbirds are nesting in one of the crepe myrtles again this year. Mama wasn’t happy that I was so close. (2 pics) I’ll try to share photos as the babies hatch, and I hope this pair has better luck this year. Last year the nest was emptied by (I suspect) a snake.
