  1. New on the Puerto Paz website:

    1. Trigger Warnings & other pre-reading info. 2. the NEW blog: dedicated to topics such as politics & social commentary, sometimes tying them in with the book. Both are linked to on the home page: www.puertopaz.com
  2. Facebook won't run my ad for my fictional novel, "Puerto Paz" (ebook free), because they keep flagging it as a political ad. My novel is full of political themes, so I can't really promote the novel without having political language. H.G. Wells's "War of the Worlds" would not do
  3. We're getting close to Partitioning Day... the day the USA splits into 2 countries, due to political extremism, in the novel "Puerto Paz". The e-book is FREE, visit www.puertopaz.com
  4. Subscription model regulation

We need government intervention in subscription business models. It has gotten out of control what companies charge monthly subscriptions for that used to be one time purchases, claiming they are providing"services" instead of products. Heated car seat subscription??? Seriously?
  5. I asked Bing's AI chat "who is the target demographic for the novel "Puerto Paz"?"... response was pretty good. A mix of info that is easily obtained from internet searches about the book, and extrapolating from that info to answer the specific question.
  6. I've seen a number of these going around and wanted to collect them all for a few days! Bryan M Vance ( @bryanmvance ) and Deanie Schwarz ( @wagthetale ) have been curating a list of journalists on Post vi
  7. I still can't believe the Washington Football team renamed themselves the "Commanders" after the Handmaid's Tale had already been on Hulu for a good 4 seasons. I would have renamed them the Washington
  8. A singer isn't really sincere unless there's a key change to prove it.
  9. Huh, Elon Musk drinks a lot of soda with Aspartame in it... Aspartame leads to anxiety in mice
  10. Cat band album cover. Foreground is the member who is into vices (cat treat bag and brush), background is the lookout. #Cats #Caturday #Pet #Pets
  11. Fascinating read, and description of how people react to being emotionally wounded. Those who turn to sadism vs those who don't.
  12. Hi Posters, In this post, I want to share some of our dilemmas and prioritization challenges so you get an idea of how and why we make the tradeoffs we do. As of now, we have 530K users on the waitlist
  13. Twitter alternatives

I think it comes down to Post and Mastodon, not necessarily either or, but nothing else beyond those 2 for engaging w/ strangers (Facebook is being killed by too many ads, but that is still for friend
  14. Is there any way to block all references to "Wordle" from my feed on this site? So far I'm muting anyone who posts their Wordle results, but I'd rather block by keyword.
  15. Seasons

I hate Christmas ads & decorations before Thanksgiving because I love seasons... I love a mix of warm and cold seasons, blooming then snow-covered dormant flora, swimming outdoors in summer, running o
  16. Nuclear fusion progress (energy output exceeding energy input) is possibly the most momentous discovery ever in human civilization. It was headline news for about 4 hours. 24 hours later it is buried
  17. "Post" not a great name selection

I don't think "Post" was a good name for this site. Try finding this site by Googling "Post". I give up after page 3 of search results. Even "Post social" results in, at best, news articles about this
