When words fail me, I write  The constant feeling of thoughts tingling down your fingers demanding to be released...  The incessant demands of emotions washing over you, demanding to be woven, to be shaped, to be freed  I write social and political poetry it's weird but it's my quirk.   I'm an older (57) Mother of an 12 Year old Nate. Due to an illness 4 years ago I can't do normal work and Nate is severely asthmatic. We fled haiti 1 year ago and are still trying to get back to normal. So, If you enjoy my work and like my texts and IF you can a bit of support is much needed and most welcomed paypal.me/murielvieux  or try directly at murielvieux@gmail.com for the Paypal.  A little bit about my social media:  Twitter, Post - Raising Nate, and Social/Political poetry about US politics  Facebook - Haitian stuff / poems  Instagram - Social / Personal poetry  Tiktok - just to check on my son   Things to know about me (I update when I think of new things): I'm 100% introvert I don't talk much Dyslexic - I am I even wrote a poem about it lol, which means my texts will often have typos.

  3. No Forgiveness

It is useless to ask you to wake up at this point, besides if you have your way, your awakening will come soon enough. The day is coming when your eyes will open, not to behold the paradise you’ve been creating in your mind, but the bowels of hell you’ve been actively constructin
  4. There’s a war going on and there are only 2 sides, Freedom or Dictatorship. Pick your side. There will be no do overs and no second chances. Choose wisely for if the right wins, it will be the last time you get to decide anything in your life anymore. #TheAmericanHaitianPoet
  5. Tired

You come into our spaces Trying to get into our good graces Thinking you hold all the aces Never once looking into our faces Wanting to cover all the bases While of us wiping all traces We are tired of waiting For you to do the right thing We are so done asking For you to start listening
  6. Hey @Cnn

@cnn Want to talk about Haiti? Children now sleep under their beds if they have a bed, or under the table in case of stray bullets. #TheAmericanHaitianPoet Muriel Vieux – April 29th, 2024 - ©️ AllRightsReserved
  7. For you it might be the cost of a pizza, a pair of shoes, an extra accessory, for them it is food, medicine, milk, and other life necessities, the end might be near; but they must survive until then.
  8. Don't give me points please. Gave all mine to Aaron cause I can't access them. It's a waste to give them to me.
  9. When a right cause goes wrong

One may ask, how can protesting the killing of thousands be wrong? It’s not, but it is also not what is going on in these protests for the most part. Though a lot of misguided souls are taking part in these protests thinking they are rooting for the right side, they need to look
  10. So I don't know what's going to happen, but as I gave away all my points almost 400$ worth of them lol. If anyone wants to donate to help haitians please drop a few bucks in the paypal fundraiser. You don't need to have paypal you can do it with credit cards. Much love your Poet

  13. Breathing without life

Throaths clogged by fear Eyes screaming from pain Faces emptied by dread Shouting without words Yelling in silence Roaring in the void Voices bereft of sound Gazes screeching in agony Bodies frozen by terror Weeping without tears Crying without noise Shivering without heat Hands clench

  15. I started to ask myself, when did the world get so cruel Then I remembered the past, and realized the world has always been cruel From human sacrifices to burning witches From the Crusades to the slave trades Humans have always been willing to show the worst of themselves Humans have
  16. The Pride Within

Yes Black people can have and do have misconceptions and prejudices against their own kin folks! We grew up in the same culture as you! And while quite a few Black influencers peddling misinformation are doing it for the monetary gains, there are also those who do it because they
  17. do you know how many haitian families I could help with almost 400 dollars? I can't withdraw these points because I don't have a US Bank account. If you can withdraw points for cash, let me know I will give them away particularly if you're one that has given points to me. No use

  19. Enough!

White people, yes you, always find a way to dismiss how Black folks are treated in the USA, when you don’t flat-out ignore it, because it makes you uncomfortable. Do you think life is comfortable for Black folks in the USA? The fact that you think Black folks should just keep end

How do I know you’re not a free thinker? Because you can fight for things that affect your life in a negative way You fight for the rights of corporations who pay you a pittance You fight against the right to have health care even as you can’t afford illness You fight against the ri
