Global Lead, Digital Assets, Amazon Web Services

Michael B. Greenwald is a Senior Executive for Amazon Web Services serving as the Global Lead for Digital Assets. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Director of Digital Asset Education for Tiedemann Advisors. He was the first U.S. Treasury attaché to Qatar and Kuwait, acting as the principal liaison to the banking sector in those nations for two presidential administrations from 2010-2017. Michael is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) directing a digital asset capstone program, a former fellow at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council Geoeconomics Center, an adjunct senior fellow at the Center for New American Security, and is Deputy Director at the Trilateral Commission. He holds a Juris Doctor from Boston University, a Master’s from Boston University’s Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from George Washington University. Raised in Brookline, Massachusetts, he lives in Palm Beach, Florida with his wife Nolan and served on the Board of The Town of Palm Beach Investment Committee. He was honored by Palm Beach Illustrated as one of the city’s 100 most influential business leaders.
