Got the recall update, with some changes to FSD Beta. As usual, it did somethings better than previously, but still had major fails - fails like not stopping when pedestrian warning lights are flashing and the person already halfway across the other lane. Or barreling by a road c Got a new software update last week for my Tesla Model 3, so I met up with a local EV enthusiast who hadn't experienced it before and put it through my test loop. Most will probably not be surprised it's still not actually Full Self-Driving. Great time recording the show this week. Lots of great topics that didn't make it to the headline. Electric Road Trip!

I haven't taken my Tesla Model 3 through my test loop in several months and two software updates, so my friend Ashley joined me for a little ride. We didn't die, but we might have if I hadn't really hit the throttle when it slowly pulled out in front of traffic. I missed an error message when I picked up my used #Tesla Model 3 out-of-state that indicated it had a $2,000 issue with AC charging. Here's some info to keep you from making the same mistake.
