Beth Brown

Poet and Writer with Literary Wings

“I read, I write, I live,” wrote William Styron. Yes. Indefatigably, I, too, write to live. I lost my 20-year-old son to suicide a decade ago, and I write passionately and fervently about grief, hope, and healing after suicide loss. I blog regularly at My Forever Son and will soon publish a book of original poems about losing a child to suicide. Soon to follow will be books about healing, years 1 through 10, deep grief & sorrow. I also blog delightfully (and lightheartedly) at Gardens at Effingham, a blog where cats tell the tales. Guitars, cats, coffee, writing & all things literary, nature, hope. Come find me writing songs, poems, stories, and essays at My Forever Son.
